About Us
Heartland Generation is a privately-owned independent power generation company with critical infrastructure assets located in Alberta and British Columbia. We own a complementary portfolio of 10 generation assets, with a combined 2,680 megawatts (MW) of gross capacity.
Heartland Generation is grateful to live and work in the traditional territories of First Nations, Métis and Inuit Peoples in Alberta and British Columbia. We honour the Elders, Knowledge Keepers and communities who continue to care for these lands today, as well as their ancestors who have inhabited them since time immemorial. We commit to deepening our relationships and advancing Reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.
